Unlearning and Blooming
Hi - I’m Janelle and I’m so glad you’re here! I am a former Finance and Accounting Leader who went through a massive transformation to become an Artist and Women’s Mindfulness Guide. I know what it looks like to do the work to shed the beliefs and patterns that aren’t working and discover how my soul is showing me how to thrive instead because I’ve done it.
My shift began after the tragic blessing of becoming unemployed the day before my mom found out she had stage 4 cancer. Her journey was an intense one, with multiple complications and hospitalizations. Unemployment allowed me to be there to support her every step of the way. That year sent me down a path of spiritual growth, and deep internal work. I found artistic abilities and passions I had no idea were inside me. I learned how to build and embrace a life of so much more authenticity, fulfillment, and joy. I found my mission to help others do the same, but hopefully with less tragic circumstances. (And for those of you wondering - against the odds, my beautiful mom is still here ❤️)
And I never could have done this without the endless love, encouragement, and support of my amazing husband and wonderful parents. A giant shout out of gratitude to them and all the friends and family who have supported me on this wild ride.

Women’s Circles
I’m a certified women’s circle leader and lead a monthly circle in the Upper West Side of NYC. In a casual setting (i.e. my living room), we gather to unlearn the patterns and beliefs that keep us stuck, support and witness each other in community, and reconnect with our own inner light.
Support my Art
Art has been a huge part of my healing journey. It has shown me how vital creativity is for the soul. I am honored if my artistic expressions speak to the artist in you, and I’m grateful for your support.
I make stained glass earrings (also in my living room - yay NYC apartment life!) and my first painting is available for sale!
‘Abstract Sunrise in the Hills’ being selected as a winner of their painting challenge was a high point in my early art career.
